Life Goals

I have already written a post on my goals for this year but I really wanted to discuss the importance of life goals in this post and some of mine too!

One of my biggest fears is probably having no clue of the direction of my life. Don’t get me wrong, I have been ‘lost’ plenty of times in life but until I get back on track or even find a new path, I never truly realise how important it is for me to have some sort of aim in my life.

I see so many people clueless trudge through life and I am not talking about the people that are actually trying to find their passion. I am talking about the people that continue to settle in every area of their life and sometimes even settle too soon because of it. Now, I don’t want to pass judgement but from listening to some people’s reasoning to what they make the decisions they do, it is a little worrying to me.

Having goals is like setting a standard for yourself. Having life goals is having direction. It’s not always a clear path and likely to have some obstacles but it’s one of the best ways to make sure you don’t lose yourself as much. What happiness is for everyone is different, but creating life goals for me keeps me happy in the now as it gives me purpose and a sense of accomplishment when I do achieve those goals.

My main life goal right now that I am working towards is starting my own business. It means more than anything to me as I really think it will give me the freedom I want to create and work in a way that is best for me. Even though there are so many obstacles including lack of support, lack of resources and lack of time, this is something I have to work for. On top of this, I have so many distractions in my life and I genuinely feel like it is a test to see if I am really committed to my life goals.

I would love to hear some of your life goals in the comments and would love to have a community of people on here that are on the same path as me, even though your life goals could be completely different!

Love Nish x
